Frequently asked questions about Love Collage
A Kudoboard love collage is a free way to express your love to your partner in a unique way. Our boards can easily compile the photos and videos that are special to your relationship into a love story collage. The multimedia approach allows for all aspects of your relationship to be displayed.
To create a free love collage click, “Create a Kudoboard” on the top right of our webpage. Then, fill in the template and choose ‘Mini Board.’ Now you are ready to design the collage to your liking. For an example of what a love collage looks like on Kudoboard, check out this example.

The nice thing about a Kudoboard love collage is that there is no need for a template. We take your photos and videos and make them into a beautiful collection of messages and photos. This allows you to have the versatility to create a relationship collage unique to your specific needs.
Even though we do not have specific template options for a love collage, we do have an example to help direct you. Additionally, if you are looking for ideas on what to include in the thank you collage, here are some options:
- Create a timeline of your love story
- Include your top 10 memories together
- Interview each other to see how well you know each other.
- Include ways you’ve overcome challenges together
- Ask for others to contribute things they love about your relationship.
When you first created your Kudoboard love collage, you selected a background image. You either picked this image from our library of backgrounds or uploaded your own. Either way, if you decided to go in a different direction and now need to change the wallpaper for your love collage follow these steps:
- Open your Kudoboard
- Click the “Change Background” button that looks like a paintbrush. This is located in the upper right of your Kudoboard.
- This will automatically pull up any available backgrounds
- Clicking a background will update your board.
- When you find one you like, X out of the background section.
Any Kudoboard love collage can be printed for you to frame. We have a few different options for printing: print a poster through us, download and print at a local print shop, or have us create a book. To print a poster through us, follow these steps:
- In editor mode, select the eye icon to ‘view as recipient.’
- Click the printer icon.
- Select poster
- Customize print size and select ‘Print and Ship.’
- Calculate the price and order the print.
If you want to print the relationship photo card at your local print shop, download the JPG version of the board. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open your board
- Next to the board’s title, choose the ‘Download or Print’ button
- Select the digital delivery option ensuring the blue poster button is selected.
- Download the file from your email.

No matter which method you choose, you will be able to print your love collage to place in a frame of your choice. We also offer a third printing option for our boards and that is to make it into a book. To make a book, follow the instructions in ‘How can I turn my Kudoboard into a book?’ Here you will find any additional questions you might have when making your love collage into a book.
Many love collage makers, limit you on what you can do with their collage templates and software. Whether that is only allowing you to have a screen’s worth of posts or forcing you to stick to one of their templates, other love story collage programs can be inflexible.
A Kudoboard love story collage allows you to be flexible in the number of photos and has other unique features to add creativity to your love collage. These features include the ability to add videos, GIFs, and messages. Once the collage is complete, we provide print options, like a poster or book, if you would like a physical copy of the collage.
Sometimes it can be hard to choose just one picture to include in a love story collage board. If you would like to add more than one picture to your post, you are welcome to include up to four in a collage photo.
To create a collage photo, click ‘+Add to Board’ at the top left corner. Then, select ‘Add Image’ and click ‘Upload Image.’ From here, you can choose the file you wish to use. We accept most file types but recommend using JPG or PNG files. Once you select 4 photos to upload, toggle to image collage at the top of the page. This will allow you to make it into an image collage.
At this point, you can rearrange the photos, zoom in/out on your images, and select a layout option. When the photo collage is to your liking, add desired text and click post. If you would like to see this process in real-time, check out this demo video.
