Hey Rob, the roots you've established here are greatly appreciated and I am sure will continue on for many moons to come. Thank you for your knowledge and guidance with helping the Trees are Terrific! program. You are "THE Tree Trooper!" Good luck out West and keep blazing that trail my friend. Thank you for all that you do to make our planet a better place! I look forward to hearing how you will root yourself in your next adventure. Enjoy this next chapter!!!

Rob - I will miss you a whole lot. You hit the ground running with Tree Troopers, Backyard Buffers, Groves of Gratitude and filled in vetting requests for Residential Site Assessments. All the best to you. Happy you will reunite with family. But, your "family" here will miss you too.

Rob,
Your calming presence, sense of humor, genuine kindness and expansive knowledge of trees will stay with me always. Thank you for sharing your passion with us and making our communities greener.
I’ll think of you every time I find a tree growing in my gutters (how resilient!) or plant one (in the ground, not a gutter)
Wishing you the best on your next adventure and I hope our paths cross again someday
Katie
Rob, thank you for the great help restoring and teaching people about trees and their importance in the watersheds. I am personally grateful for your help in planting the many trees on my property.
You’ll be missed, enjoy the west!

Rob,
It has been a joy working with you and getting to know you since I started at WSA. I am so impressed by your knowledge and commitment to your work, and how you make personal connections with each person you interact with- whether it be staff, Steward, or anyone else. The amount of personal "thank you" notes you receive from Tree Troopers and other Stewards attests to the fact that you have made a true impact on many- and that people trust and appreciate your leadership.
I look forward to hearing about the BIG things you will be doing out west and I hope you have fun doing them. Please hit me up if you are ever back in town for Rennfest (I will send pics when I go so you don't get too jealous that you are missing it ;)) or anything else and we can grab a vegetarian meal and beer on me!
Wishing you the best on this next adventure and stay in touch.
Jeff
Rob-

Thank you for all you have done to help our trees. I wish you all the best with your new adventures.
With only a couple days before your WSA position ends, you agreed to do a site visit for a restoration project in my community. This goes above and beyond the call of duty and I, and my community, are grateful for your support and dedication. Thank you Rob. Wish you the best!
Rob,
It has been a joy to know you. I am so grateful for your help in making my Tree Troopers projects happen and all of your assistance throughout the years. Your patience and can do attitude are real gifts. I wish you the very best in your new adventures. You will be missed! Sincerely, Lara Mulvaney
Rob,
I'm not sure I have the words to express how much appreciation I have for you as an amazing co-worker and friend. You are thoughtful and kind, smart and talented, down-to-earth and creative, and so much more! I have learned so much from you over the past 8.5 months and will miss your Monday morning words of encouragement, your late afternoon Google Calendar lessons, and your overall smile and sense of humor. The new Restoration Coordinator has big shoes to fill but they will never replace the hard work and dedication you gave to this job. You have so much to celebrate! Thank you for being our very own Lorax and speaking for the trees. I wish you safe travels to the west coast and hope you'll stay in touch!
~Sara
Rob,
Wether it's visually-apparent yet, or not, I thank you for helping anchor a huge effort to reforest and conserve a vast network of individual and shared spaces. You literally and figuratively planted us on the right path, asking nothing in return. If there is anything you ever need, please come and find us harvesting paw paws and blueberries in one of the Maryland's Food Forest Regenerative Network sites ;) you helped start.

We are so glad we got to partner with you at Roedown Farm this year. You know we don't invite just anyone to hang in the Chesapeake Connections trailer! Thank you for everything and we hope you have an amazing new chapter out west.
